Privacy Policy

This policy describes what we collect when you request an API key or use the API at
api.pucdocs.com. It is short because we collect very little — the service serves public
government records and has no interest in your activity beyond counting requests.
What we store

| Request counters per key per time period | To enforce your plan's quota. These are counts only. |
We do not keep request logs, and we do not record what you query. The API logs no request lines. The counters above record how many calls a key made in a period — not which states, dockets, or filters you asked for. Your queries are not retained or profiled.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing.
- We do not run advertising or third-party analytics trackers on this site.
- We do not set cookies to track you. The marketing pages are static files; they have no tracking scripts.
Payments
When card payments are enabled they are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's systems and never reach our servers; we receive only a payment status and an identifier for your subscription.
Infrastructure
The API runs on a private server operated by us. The domain sits behind a content-delivery and security proxy, which necessarily handles your connection and may keep standard access logs (IP address, time, requested path) for security and abuse prevention. Those logs are the proxy's, not ours, and we do not use them to build profiles.
How long we keep it
- Account details and key records: while your key is active.
- Usage counters: retained for quota enforcement and ordinary operations, then discarded.
- Email you send us: kept as long as needed to help you, then deleted.
Your choices
- Ask us to revoke your key at any time and access ends immediately.
- Ask us to delete your signup record (name, email, key) and we will, which also revokes the key.
- Ask what we hold about you — it is limited to the table above, and we will confirm it.
Children
This is a business data service, not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will post the update here with a new effective date.
